Popping out of gear--Atomic 4 Tranny

Recently we were motoring back to port after the Mills Race when suddenly the tranny popped out of gear. I slowed down the revs and placed it back in gear and it worked for about 15 minutes and it did it again. We ran the rest of the way to tour dock and everything was fine. Any ideas???? Thanks

Your transmission needs adjustment

It should be a simple matter of adjusting the collar. Attached is a link. My marina wanted $500 to adjust it, but I was able to do it in less than hour. Good idea to check it out while tied up at the dock after you adjust it to make sure you will stay in gear underway. Good Luck!
