Pop Top Leaks

I have a 74 O'Day with a leaking pop top. I tried rebedding all the hardware. Just wondering if anyone has had simmilar problems and how they have fixed it. Thanks

Trick to find the leak

David -Need to figure it out with you. I would get a newspaper and spread it all out below the hatch. Then, come to the boat after the next rain - that will tell you where the water falls from. Then you need to figure out how its running to get to that point but at least you have a big clue.Justin - O'day Owners' Web

Hello I have the same issue with he leaks and I have done a few things to prevent leakages without reseating all of the hardware. I have come to think that most of my leakage is coming through the deck at the mast. Does your top pop up around the mast or is it just the companion way pop up? If you have the full poptop, how is your deck sealed around the mast?Thanks,PV
