Recently purchased an '84 Mac 25 but there is no enclosure for the pop top. Does anyone have a pic or the dimensions so a replacement can be made. Also how does it attach to the cabin top. Thanks

I have one for a 1989 26D not sure if it would work, But if you would measure the top and they are the sane I will get you all the measurements.

pop up top
I have a pop up cover for my '84 MacGregor. I will take a picture and post it for you. I bought my boat used from the original owner. I'm sure it came w/ the boat and you can probably get one at MacGregor in Costa Mesa CA. It makes sleeping on the boat and hanging out in the cabin a lot more comfortable!

Mac 26d enclosure
Nic My top is 56x49 and 20 high. My cover has 21 sides with two 48" zippers 10" in from each sid on the stern end top. The zipper hatch opening is 32x48 it rolls up and a has velcro strap to hold in place. There is a velcro opening to allow for the top's holder at the mast. Hope this helps some. I will say I'd make the sides a bit longer to with snapping it in place. Good luck

24 & 25 vs 26 mac
fwiw, I think the poptops on 24 & 25's work a little differently (than the 26's) I think, the top is further aft when raised on the older models.... so please be sure you have the right template before you make one.... I also have the enclosure for the D, and can get meaurements, but kind doubt they will help you.
