Poll: Do you cover the boat with tarp for winter

and if yes, is it full cover or partial cover? Do you use boom to make slope?

This tarp has lasted 4 seasons

and this will be the last year for it. I've cut a new cover, but didn't put it on this year. Last week we had 48+ mph winds and lake effect snow storms coming off lake erie and the cover is still on. Next year we'll cut the old tarp to fit our snipe that we've been working on as a winter cover. Not bad for a $50 investment.

Cover Up

Where I store, we have to drop the mast, so I use it for a ridge pole, and plastic well pipe for the 'bows'...makes a nice gentle curve... then cover it with a blue poly tarp.....kind of like an old connestoga wagon. A tarp..for about $30...usually lasts 2 - 3 seasons. Shrink wrap looks pretty, but for the cost, and the short time it takes to cover this way, it's a no-brainer to me.
