Hello All, I'm still planning my whisker pole setup and its getting close to final. I have all pieces but the track and using the cleats from my traveller that I'm replacing (thanks agaliha) all I'm missing is the track and installing it. has anyone here installed pole track on a mast ? is there a clever way to get it centered and straight ? here is the setup I'm going for: I'm getting a 9 feet track with blocks in each end. 4-5 feet from deck on port site will be two cleats and the rope runs from the car up/down and then to the cleat in a loop. the pole will be long enough for me to store it on the mast, with mast end up and sheet down. Being as I have the permanent babystay I think I'll disc the pole from the mast every jybe (not ideal). Any comments to the setup ?
