Not really stealing the title from Readers Digest but i thought we needed a place to post questions about nothing.

For instance...

If fish oil comes from fish, peanut oil comes from peanuts... Where does Baby oil come from?

Or

If our knees bent the other way, like a bird, what would a chair look like?

Why do 7-11's have locks on the front door if they're open 24/7/365 ?

Why are they called "apart-ments" if they're so close together ?

Why do we drive on parkways and park on driveways ?

Why does Radio Shack always ask for your phone number when you buy batteries ?

Actually, not all that silly. Mom lived in Ft Myers, FL. There was a hurricane and the Perkins Restaurant that was open 24/7 didn't even have a front door lock from when it was originally built. They had to hire a guard until a door lock was installed- or maybe the restaurant reopened.

Shouldn't being distressed be the opposite of being stressed?

At a traffic stop, why does the officer ask "Do you know why I stopped you?"
There are any number of responses that could really get a reaction out of him:
1. "Why, did you forget?"
2. "Is it because I'm using a test-pipe in place of my catalytic converter?"
3. "Is it because I have a body in my trunk?"
4. "Is this about me outrunning you last time?"
etc.
