For the life of me I can not seem to get my Catalina 22 to point well.The best sems to be 45-60 degrees. Any suggestions. By the way Crescent Lake in Crescent City Florida is secret. I have averaged 6 knots fo over an hour. You can sail on this lake all day and not even see another boat. It is the 3rd largest lake in Florida

Using Traveler?
Crescent City: Besides jib in close, keep traveler over so boom is near center of boat, except in heavy winds. Criss-crossing your genny jibsheets to the opposite winches also pulls the jib in closer. Also, check your keel to be sure it is OK and positioned well. If it is a wing keel it may not point quite as well as either a fixed or swing keel I've heard. RK
