PNW Pirates Bash 2025 Poulsbo Aug 22-24

Just a head-up for those that do not know about it.
This is a fun boating event every summer in Poulsbo, and a good excuse to visit if you have never been there.
Liberty Bay is fairly large and there is lots of anchorage with 10-30 foot (and shallower) depths with a famously grippy mud bottom.
Good shoreside facilities, little grocery store in town, Safeway about 15 minutes up the road, and Longship Marine alone is always worth a visit.

Love Poulsbo as a port to visit. Fun shops, good food. A marine museum with fun for young and old mariners. Music on the park, good pubs, and a bakery that usually sells out by noon.

Thanks for sharing the Pirates Bash. I’ve not experienced that feature. Yet.

Iffy this far out, but a definite maybe. Been to Poulsbo a number of times. Nice place with a bakery to die for and a very hospitable yacht club where John Lund and I were invited to a hosted dinner night of steak and baked potato. Unaware of the Pirates Bash. Can you share any details about the event, such as robbery or criminal violence by ship or boat-borne attackers upon another ship with the goal of stealing our cargo and other valuable goods? Would not want to end up as cannon fodder.
