Problems....
NUMBER 1
How to get the shower leaking fixed. And getting the laminate rotting issues stopped. Have cleaned and rechaulked on a near yearly basis and it keep happen. Almost the entire lower area next to the companion way and just now discovered .....is really bad in the more hidden hard to get to areas behind engine and under rear cabin bed. Found out this weekend while doing annual spring cleaning.
NUMBER 2
Just discovered.... location of entire area at base of companion way, Laminated plywood under teak floor as rotted. Looks like Teak Floor will need to be pulled up. No signs of damage to Teak Just supporting laminated plywood under floor.
NUMBER 3
Extreme Sweating of area under Galley Sink next to freezer. Also Extreme Sweating behind Seat Cushion. This has been like this since new. Tempory solution for the last 10 years...must always remember to leave cabinet door open and cushion propped up.
Turning freezer off when not there is not an option. Freezer runs 24-7 just like home. Adlerbarber cold machine is dialed in and keeps the bluebell nice and cold. Hows -15 to -5 degress sound? When it starts to hit 0 degrees I defrost. Well at least I have something to brag about.

Question...Has anyone else had any of these issuies and how did you fix them?
thanks RR
p.s. Please read seperate posting on other issuies. Oil canning of hull and keel to hull separation.

I`m reading you post about potential rotted areas on your boat.It soumds like it could be serious. Is most of it from condensation or leaking hoses etc.The area around the head and companion way floor joist is rotted.I take it the teak is ok,and the plywood is needs replacement. Is this a job you can handle or does it require a professional marine carpenter to undertake.I ve seen what your describing on older boats from 70`s with this issue.I think this is the first Ive read about this problem on the H356.
I`m close to closing on a H356 shortly,in fact I`m having the survey in abour 10 days so I`m personally going to check for that.Any other areas you suggest.
Thanks
Richard
