Peggy, I hope the attached picture helps. On the starboard side of the toilet, there are 2 manual shut-offs w/hoses. I assume that the smaller white one is where lake water is drawn in. The other black sanitation hose exits the head beside the sanitation hose coming from the bottom of the hand punp on the port side of the toilet. What is the function of the black hose in the photo ?
