I would like to replace the taps and shower hosehead in my 1985 Hunter 31. Does anyone know of a source preferably in Canada? Otherwise any source would be welcome.
Boat faucets are no different from any others...plumbing connections should be the same sizes. Just don't scrimp on the quality if you want 'em to last very long on a boat..get good stainless steel, nothing plated. You MAY find a new shower head there too...if not, check RV suppliers.
Smitty:There are only a couple of things that I have been able to find. If you do not need the shower, then you can go to any home improvement center and get something. If you want the shower head you will probably need to look at the Marine Catalogs. Whale has a unit as does Scandvik and Tempo. I'd be interested in knowing what you find and the price. The other problem is the amount of space that you have to work with in that very small counter in the 31. I know that you can replace the sink with a Stainless Steel one from Home Depot (I think the price was about $50).
I have just found a Marine store in Canada. I found them on a on-line auction. Dave gave me a real good price on a mask/deck light and a foot pump for my sink. Here is the auction site.
