I was looking over my water system and preparing a plan to winterize the water system on our 2002 h386. To bypass the hot water tank I'll need to remove the inlet and outlet lines and hook them together. The problem is I'm not familliar with the type of fitting on tank. They appear to be some kind of compression fitting. Do these come apart or is there an easier way?

Whale system?

If they are the red and blue pvc type hoses, then they are pretty easy to remove... The white portion that actually connects to the hose or the hot water spicket, needs to be pushed further on to the hose. Once it has reached it's limit, place your finger on the inner portion of the white fitting and hold that inner portion in as you slide the fitting off the hose/spicket... Hopefully that made sense after only a half cup of java. Brian
