I need to replace the raw water exhaust anti-siphon/vented loop valve. I seen a few out there by Jabsco, Forespar and Vetus. Any suggestion would be most welcome!

Thanks -Jon

Thanks Claude..... Do you think this is as good/reliable as the original?

Macdu... I think this may have been standard for hunters... but was unable to find it so I figured that it was no longer in production.

Dunno, Jon.. My preference would be Marelon .. The original one is a USA made piece that was made before folks started selling "stainless" of very questionable chemistry.. (I have no real basis for not thinking that part is OK) The little valve in mine failed once many years ago and I was able to find the replacement valve at a local chandlery..

if you have the ss part now then you can get just the plastic valve from the same people

also toad marine has this part

For an engine siphon break the only one I use is the Scot Pump VB.. The Forespar duck-bills & the Vetus breakers have not been as reliable for me as the Scot Pump VB, on a raw water circuit.. You can also buy just the siphon break and build your own loop too...

Thanks Maine.... Now I just need to find out where to order it from.....
Claude... Since I do have the SS 5/8" loop as Woodster pointed out, I'm going to try and find this replacement. Otherwise, I'll go with the Marelon.
