Plexiglass Fixed Port Thickness

I want to replace a fixed port smoked plexiglass in my boat.Does anyone know what thickness the plexiglass should be for those portlights.Because of Logistics and the crappy weather I dont want to take it out for an extended time unless I have to.Also,has anyone cut the plexiglass from asheet and what knid of blade do I need for a jigsaw?Is a jigsaw the best for this?Thanks

Jigsaw blade

When I did my ports (H34) I used the jigsaw blade that was made for cutting PVC pipe. Worked fine with a variable speed jigsaw on low. High speed will create too much friction and heat.
