I don't know how many saw the pictures of the new H426 that were posted on the site a couple of weeks ago but what immediately caught my eye was the plexiglass backsplash that was installed between the sink and the backseat of the table. I have always had a problem with the spray from the faucet hitting the back of the cushion on my H34. The next day I went to the local plastic supply house and had them make a 3/8" plexiglass backsplash. I made it go all the way across the counter area 9" x 48". I used 3/8" so that it would look substantial, 4" radius on the corners, round beveled and polished on the ends, and attached to fiddle on the countertop. It looks great and gives the boat a sense of separation between the galley and salon without blocking sight and making the area look smaller. It also upgraded the boat to a new contemporary style.
