please identify this

hi
in the area under the floor in the saloon between the batteries and
the fuel tank there is a wooden block mounted to the hull with about 5
screw threads visable together with what looks like a hollow
tube..please can anyone tell me what this is used for ? thsnks kevin

That sounds like the thru hull for a transducer. I have one there
for my knotmeter. Should be a cap for it on the inside of the hull,
unless it has been glassed over.
