Plates sliding of table

I'm at Squirrel Cove, BC doing laundry today.
I've been out crusing for 18 days.
Refrigerater door leaks condensation water, compresser needs servicing so I'm using ice and the fresh water pump cycles every 15 minutes so I have a leak some place and have to pump the bildge every day.

I know now what you mean by plates sliding off the outside pedistal table....first time I've ever used it.
What did you come up with?

In Ireland right now, but our plates and bowls have a rubber ring around the bace, stick well.

Dollar Store Shelf Liner

Paul, We got some stuff from the fabric store that looks like a square mesh that is used to line cabinets. It is rubberized and keeps things from sliding around.
