Hi all, I am writing this article to offer my help regarding this subject. I have been a plastics fabricator for 10 years making OEM and aftermarket parts for the boating market. I am also a Hunter owner. I am offering my help for questions such as: what type of plastic to use for replacing Teak or other wood products,Plexi versus Lexan and which one to use for which application,Starboard and it's cousins(made as Teak replacement products),what to use for bearing stock,etc. I have used plastics in my H-25 restoration and may be able to suggest what to use for your boat.
