I recall that there are some caulks not suited for certain plastics. Can you elaborate? Rick D.

Caulking for plastics

You are right. Many caulkings are not compatible with plastics. Life Seal, which is a combination of polyurethane and silicone, is quite successful on plastics, especially the polycarbonates, such as Lexan and ABS. Polysulfides leach out the plasticizers on most plastics causing them to become crazed, brittle and crack.
