I have flushed my reciently purchased 1986, 31' Hunter's water tank several times and the water still smells and tastes like plastic after a few days!! Any advice?
That "plastic taste" isn't actually plastic...it's the result of molds, etc that grow in the plumbing. You'll find complete recommissioning instructions in a file called "Fresh Water Maintenance" in the Reference Library in the Head Mistress forum.
