Planning to fly a Doyle APC on Vision 32

I have ordered an APC from HOW but would like to hear from anyone haveing background on APC and the Hunter free standing rig on the vision 32 (1989) as to rigging and safety of mast.

APC works well

I have an APC on my 1989 Vision 32. It works very well.It can be used as a Genoa as well. Mine has a sock, it helps a lot. I have used it for racing. APC Experience

I recently purchased the Doyle APC and have been quite happy with the performance. It is a little awkward to set and change (my limited experience doesn't help matters) but once set it helps quite nicely. I also have a sock and highly recommend it. When the sail starts "flapping" it's great to put the sock on it to think about the re-set.
