Peter and the experienced others... I read about some of your findings in the archives regarding the placement of a puck sytle depth transducer on the H23. It was mentioned and I concur that the best place to install the transducer would be in the small compartment underneath the floor board adjacent to the porta john which positions it before the keel. I was curious if 1) you used this location, 2) if so which path (of least resistance) did you run the cable to the guage, and 3) if not than where? I'm building a dash board to mount the instrument guage, among some other newfound necessities, that slide into the companionway when the doors are removed...so the wiring to the electric panel is straight forward. thanks in advance.
