Pink Windows

I'm thinking about buying a 26D . This one has pink windows . Do many have pink windows or just certain years . Are they hard to replace ?Thanks

This has been covered before. Do a search, it's the older windows. New one's can be obtained perhaps from Ida Sailor, I forget. No they're not hard to replace. I'll look for the instructions.Steve

26D windows

IdaSailors got em for all the Macs and more. I understand they come pre-drilled even. JohnS

I don,t know about other Mac models, but I do know about my 26D. Apparently, one can purchase plexiglas with UV protection, but it costs more. So guess what, we got the plexiglas that changes color with time. I have replaced the drop board in the entry way on my boat. It allows a bit of privacy from dockwalkers. When I get done with my starboard portlight installation and window area increase (opening window in the head), I am finally gonna get rid of the pink plastic windows at the other three windows. I was thinking that I'd open up the holes a little bit while I'm at it. Even if I had to make a frame for the window hole to support the deck, it would be great to let in more light. John S

I have replaced my pink windows with the dark ones from IdaSailor. It took me about an hour and a half start to finish. They come predrilled with new hardware, you supply the sealant. This is a very easy installation.
