I have a 1987 Hunter 23. The mainsheet traveller is located on the forward end of the cockpit and is bolted to the bulkhead at the cabin enterance. On my boat, there are two very small, inadequate drain slots in the fiberglass that are meant to allow rainwater trapped behind the traveller to drain. The drain slots plug quite easily which then causes the hatch or pin boards to sit in water for extended periods of time and eventually rot. I've already replaced the boards once.Has anybody with a 23 faced and solved this problem?
