Might not be able to run as many things without tripping the breaker. I have two shore power cords. Still can't run the cofffee maker and microwave without tripping the breaker. true, but i always keep two 50 amp to 30 amp pigtails since some power supplies are 50 amp onlyI think of a "Pigtail" as a cord with a 30 amp plug on the shore side and a conventional 110 receptacle on the boat side. Or vise versa. Like this:

Two shore power cords could work but sometimes your only option is the 50 amp because two 30 amp outlets aren't available. They are pretty expensive but if you have to use a marina's for a transient slip that can be expensive too.![]()
