Pictures Needed of Throttle Lever for Universal Diesel Newport 28 MK II

I need someone to take a picture of their throttle lever for their universal Diesel from a Newport 28 MK II. I need to have one built since I can't seem to buy one from the factory.

When I bought my boat it was broken and whoever fixed it must have been a relative of Rube Goldberg. (I now have two opposing levers to do the work of one) It makes for a jerky throttle when docking.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

That looks like the engine, I can see part of the throttle lever in the picture. Is there any way you can take a close picture from the side and the top?

Also, do any of you have an actual filter in that snail shaped air box?

I was looking at my engine with confusion today. I'm going to double check the model, because I am missing the circled parts in the attached picture. And I think my throttle cable has a twist in it like a picture from a Catalina I found online. Anyone able to offer any insight? I'll try to take some pictures of my engine tomorrow.

You've been super about posting pics. Do you mind posting one with the port side of the engine? Trying to connect fuel pump etc.

In the 2 pictures below you can see our electric fuel pump.

Need to know which lines coming out of the boat connect to the pump. I think I see what I'm looking for. Mine is electric too.

Look at the top picture. The line you can barely see at the top of the white Racor fuel filter is coming from the gas tank. the fuel line on the far side of the Racor filter goes to the electric fuel pump bottom hose on mine (on the second pic you can see the word IN) The top fuel line coming off the fuel pump goes to the engine.

In this picture the Fuel line you see at the bottom right is coming from the top of my electric pump. You can see a secondary fuel filter that screws on like an oil filter under the fitting where this line connects.

Yes it is normal to have 2 fuel filters. The Racor is usually your main filter, then screw on one is a secondary filter. There is actually a third filter inside the electric fuel pump.
