Here is a nice picture of Strider in the Coosaw River taken by Lee and Lynn as we sailed towards Beaufort, SC the day after Christmas.



I've been hanging out in Beaufort with a day to visit Savanna by car. Lee and Lynn are staying till Monday so I'll probably leave tomorrow to do some exploring around the area till then.

Roger, When you have a chance, could yo re-post the link to you SPOT. Through a computer glitch (or another senior moment) I lost it. It's been great following you along in you adventure. Thanks for posting on your progress.

We spent a very nice few days in Beaufort some years back. Good walking in the old part of town near the marina. The Sea Island historic sites were quite interesting, too, but you need a car. Enjoy.

Roger I noticed you do not have a Bimini top and you are now getting pretty far South. It is getting cooler but the sun is still relentless. Get yourself a beach umbrella and tie it against the rear pulpit with plastic ties. A hat helps but pretty soon you will be forced to do away with long sleeve shirts.

Pants? What are pants?

We're here in the middle of Oregon heading home, south by car from Vancouver Island, relentless RAIN.

I've heard those biminis help in rain, too. You know, those 1600 hrs everyday thunderstorms in Miami.
