Our club is going to sponsor some fun races in August; they have asked that we obtain a PHRF rating. We have the only 29.5 in the club; our hunter has not been modified & has UK sails 1994 model. We are relatively new owners with no racing experience; I do know our Hunter is fairly quick when out with other boats especially in light wind. Any help would be appreciated.

Looks like...

...a 29.5 will rate about 183 race ready. Add in 6 seconds for a fixed 2 blade prop, 6 seconds for a 130% genoa, and 3 seconds for roller furling. Your final rating should come in at about 198. Make sure you clean the bottom the morning before the races. A dirty bottom is a huge factor in boat speed, accelerating out of tacks, and ultimate top speed.
