Ahoy! Newbie here, wondering if any owners have had their Oceanis Yacht 54 (the most recent generation) rated for PHRF? Haven't been successful in finding any info online, and our club RC hasn't either. I realize these boats aren't typically raced, however they're really competitive in cruising class beer can events. Thanx!

Sometimes the fleet handicapper just has to assign a number, usually based on hull length, and see what happens. PHRF is not completely fair but it does allow an Oceanis 54 to be on the race course with an Alerion 28 and a J105. Tony Dill used to do a lot of the ratings on the East End but he has passed. Maybe you can chase down whoever is doing the ratings for the Off Soundings fleet. Tony used to do that and there is likely someone who has filled his shoes.
