'82 H25 PHRF Rating
My '82 Hunter 25 (Box Top) has shoal draft and outboard power, is not banded and has a 150% foresail and no spinnaker. My Gulf Yachting Association (GYA) PHRF rating is 243. East coast rating may be slightly lower because of differences in the group doing the rating.

NE Championship
According to the NE Championship Ratings (1 July 2000), my 1979 Boxtop Hunter 25 with outboard is rated at 231. This is the base handicap. I have also seen a California base rating of 222 (14 Oct 1988). Another base rating of 229 was established by the Schell Regression Formula. Take your pick although the 243 rating seems a bit high.
