To all H33.5 and H35.5 owners: If you have any pictures of your boats flying their spinnaker (sym, assym, cruising, whatever...) would you mind posting them. I would like to see how you've configured the pole, sheets, guys, tacks, etc. Thanks in advance. Markdb

And you think hurricanes are depressions...

OK... No one sent a picture. No one likes me anymore. I'd send you a picture if you asked. Mark S/V Moribund

Thank you, Ron

Ron likes me. He tried to help. Maybe he knows how the guys and sheets are run and how many winches are needed and where they are located. Since there are no pictures, maybe 33.5s can't fly spinnakers. Mark S/V Bitter

Plan to add one to my 33.5

I am making plans now to add a spinnaker halyard after winter haul-out. I haven't decided where to place the sheet blocks yet, but from previous experience, they should go as far back as possible. That is where I have a problem... what to connect to. My old H33 had a toe rail that you could connect to along the whole side, but not the 33.5. I saved the cruising spinnaker from my old H33 and plan to use it on the 33.5. May have to get it adjusted for size; will have to wait until next spring when the boat is back together again.

Exactly the problem

Ken is wrestling with the issue: How should the spinnaker be rigged on this specific boat? But still no photos. Probably can't be done. Mark S/V Surly

Just waiting for haul-out

I am only waiting for haul so that I can istall a halyard more easily. I still need to figure out where to install the blocks on the rear quarter for the sheets. I will take pictures during each stage of this operation.

Gracias Ken

I read you post on the mast track problem. You might want to add a picture of that also. Mark S/V Hopeful
