Photo's of various sail controls please?

I have fitted new sails and I am a little unsure how to set up the sail controls. I need a way to tension the mainsail luff and foot? Various shackles and blocks are lying about but I do not know which bits go where? Some photos would be really helpful...

.......also the roller furling boom fits to the mast via a gooseneck that sits in a track which has a stop to prevent it from dropping too low but nothing to prevent it rising.. what sort of arrangement is recommended to keep it in place?

Thanks in advance.....

John,
In addition to the pictures linked in the last message, this should make a bit of sense:
The luff is tensioned at the gooseneck.

There is a line from the goose neck up to a cleat on the mast, that keeps the boom at the top of the track until you're ready to tension the luff.

Hoist up the main, then use a small tackle attached to the pin holding in the reef hooks and to a shackle at the base of the mast to tension the luff.

The foot needs an "outhaul" at the end of the boom. I use a small 4-part tackle and am amazed at how much power it still takes to flatten the foot in a blow. It's all I can do to pull the darn thing tight against the pull of the sail!

As always, this is only the way I do things, and I'm always interested in finding something better!

Just what I needed - thanks Peter... I have found most of the bits
and pieces required and it all makes sense. I shall try and get it
all fitted tomorrow.

John, don't forget to check the rivets on the track. I found a lot that needed replacing when I noticed the track stating to seperat from the mast. Easy enough job to do with a pop rivet tool.Walt, S/V Lyric

John, I have an album of my reefing gear that may show some of what you need.
