Iwould think..
..that the best benefits of these Web Sites are the information and the opinions exchanged between owners and specialists , and between owners themselves , all accumulated overtime in archives.Basically , I would presume 90% of owners have their boat owner manuals , and as suchthe theoretical factory data for each model is not the major asset of such Site.( and this 'passive' information can be found mostly at major producers Web Sites , or at their dealers ones)Having in mind also that most major brand use same equipment ( deck, sails, rigs, engines, galley, plumbing, electronics etc.),then -I would think that a big Site including even more "production line" GRP boats ,which frankly, these days, are -and look- more similar than ever ( well..except Hunters , I have to admit..), would be more benificial to the private owner.( Although the "big names" might preffer to keep us separated , for brand 'loyality'..).To much extent, it is so now, as Catalinas and Beneteau share in , whenever they find it relevant . I would 'add on' more similar ones , even if actual owners-in USA- are still in small number now, like Jeaneau , Bavaria . We all can only benefit from such versatility..
