Phasor genset exhaust

I'm installing a 6.5 kw Phasor genset in the port lazarette on a 2007 Hunter 41 and would like input on where to route the exhaust. I'm leaning towards the flat part of the transom below the propane locker. Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Wayne. Different model boat and genset, but our exhaust port discharges at the waterline, starboard side. The exhaust hose has a very high loop to prevent sea water from entering the engine from most any angle of heel.
