Bought this boat and fixed what was missing with what I could find, had a good sail boom and mast. I sailed for the first time on this boat and I still have it. Soon I am going to find a sailor launching near me in a Sun Fish and see if the parts are interchangeable................IT looks very close to a SunFish........

I've sailed one of those

I did a small boat sailing course about 12 yrs ago and the on-water sessions were conducted in Phantoms. I had sailed Sunfish many times previously so the differences were readily apparent. The Phantom is a bit larger but it's simpler, e.g, no self-bailer in the cockpit and there was less deck hardware. Like all small boats it was a blast to sail. If the wind is up, this boat will plane. Have fun! Peter H23 "Raven"

Most Parts Are Interchangeable

Those that are not are usually changed over to Sunfish parts. Most folks have a hard time telling the difference.
