I am Pex illiterate. Anybody know what size of Pex Catalina uses in their later larger boats? I need to build a water heater bypass
for winterization. Thx.

I don't know about Catalina but I re plumbed my boat with 1/2" PEX. It easy to work with.

Catalina uses 15mm Pex. Don't try to substitute 1/2", even though it looks the same. It'll leak, and damage the fittings. You can get the 15mm at any marine supply store. The big box home stores usually only carry 1/2".

Thx again for the help. I hope you enjoy that darling of a sailboat, the 355 as much as we do ours. The "5" series Catalina's are something to behold. Sux to winterize this early......but in da UP.....you never know!!
