After a rain the Port cabin light would fill and over flow with rain water then drip on the cushions. Using a water hose I sprayed water in the general area working my way up until my wife yelled from inside "ITS LEAKING"! I tracked the leak to the Port cabin window. Upon inspection I noticed that around several of the screw holes the window was cracked. Apparently the installer over tightened the screws. (I also discovered the old window was not sealed very well when I removed it.)
So I bit the bullet and ordered a replacement window from D&R and installed it last week.
Well we just had the heaviest rain since I replaced the window so I went down to the boat to check it out. The rain water that drips from the port cabin light after every rain, drips no more!
The old girl is dry once more.
