The exhaust manifold outlet pipe on my (20,000 lbs displacement) Westsail 32 auxiliary diesel, (a Perkins Prima M50) is 3 inches in diameter. Would a reducer at the waterlift outlet stepping it down to 2 inches raise havoc with exhaust or sea water back pressure, or other problems?
