Perfect match- Blue Stripe

I had a few spots on my lower boot stripe that I had repaired. I wanted to shoot the area with gelcoat but was unable to get the tint correct. I went to Ace Harware and picked up a spray can of Royal Blue. It is damn near a perfect match. Unknown how it will last. The brand can be read on the picture. It was marked, 2127 Royal Blue.

Thanks for that bit of info. I need to blue the stripe around my rudder on my 22

Is this the same Blue that's on most 70's Oday's ......I have a blue stripe at the gunnels and waterline

I believe the same color was used in the 70's as the 80's. the color I sprayed was just a hair darker than the original color. I touched up 2 areas. It is such a close match that nobody would be able to tell.

This is a picture I had taken to show you the color. The picture was taken approximately 1 foot away from the boat. You can see I had a good gouge I had filled with white gelcoat. The repaired area covered a portion of the white hull and blue stripe. If you look close you can see the blue area I painted over the repair.
