I know this is not sailing related, but my wetsuit stinks from diving in fresh water. They sell wet suit wash that "enzymaticly" cleans the odor from your dive gear. Seeing as CP is 1/3 the cost, I was wondering if it would work the same way? Thoughts? Can it kill sneaker stink? Is CP more useful than dryer sheats? :) Thanks John

C.P. should work

Try about 6 oz in a gallon of water...stick your wetsuit in it and let it sit for an hour or two...then rinse very thoroughly and hang it in the sun to dry. As for your sneakers, put about 2 oz in a quart of water...soak 'em for an hour, then throw 'em in the washer and THEN put 'em in the sun to dry.

Raritan C.P....

It's a bio-enzymatic cleaning product that's marketed only as a toilet bowl cleaner, but--in addition to also being the best sump and drain cleaner on the planet--has other uses...'cuz not only does it destroy odor on contact, but the enzymes in it "eat" hair, soap scum, sweat, body oils, grease etc that generate odor and clog up sink and sump drains. And btw, it also does a great job of cleaning toilets...leaves 'em shining and sweet smelling without any scrubbing.

tnx for the info

Thanks Peggy, I have been trying to figure out the right amounts. Any reason for the "wash and rinse"? is it to get rid of the enzymes left over? tnx
