Thanks for your input. We closed on the boat last month. Emmanuel II is in Hampton Va and are sailing her to Washington NC the end of this month. Georgie (my wife) retires spring of '08 and we plan on moving to NC and cruising Bahamas and points south when she retires(we currently live in St Paul, Minnesota). This is my 5th Hunter, and my first electric head. I have had problems before with clogged vents. Terry, your info on the HOW was very influential to me on deciding which boat to buy to go cruising. I think you will be very pleased with your P42's performance. It is one of Hunter's better designs, IMHO. I would really appreciate hearing back from you regarding the head issue...what you found and how things are going. Our system has been running trouble free ever since I cleared the problem and practice the procedure I discussed each time I pump out. Terry
