Lost my steering this weekend. Thank heaven for the emergency tiller. The pin connecting the cable to the chain sheared off. Anybody had this happen? The pedestal is a Meirrman Yatch Specilities. Best place for parts.
John: If it is a common roll pin, you may be able to pick one up at your local hardware or automotive store. These usually take a center punch to knock the old one out. Your other option may be to try to use a stainless steel bolt if you think it would work. I wonder why it would have sheared off? Was there some binding?
