I am considering purchasing a Pearson Triton 28foot (1970's) . I would appreciate any information from anybody who has sailed one and what they think about the boat. I plane to sail it in the San Francisco Bay. Winds are from 15 to 30kntos and maybe somebday to Mexico or Hawaii.

do a google for triton mir, glissando, and http://groups.yahoo.com/group/triton, also search for james baldwin his boat's the Atom, all of them are good triton sites, and have tons of info. I have hull #707, but haven't sailed her yet,(need sails) but have spent a lot of time aboard, and find it a very comfortable boat ken.
