I have just purchased a 1962 24ft.Pearson built by AeroMarine Plastics in Sausilito CA(The SF BAY area). It is quite unusual in that it has a doghouse that slides forward on tracks to totally uncover the main cabin.I can,t seem to find out anything about it on the Pearson history site.It is quite original and was built that way. Does anyone have any more information on this unusual boat? In 25yrs.I have never seen another like it. Thanks

I think AeroMarine was the builder that Pearson contracted with to build Tritons on the west coast? Maybe this would be a good question to ask on a Triton list. Try one of these: www.tritonclass.org/ www.pearsontriton.com/ I would really like to see some photos of your boat. Dan Pfeiffer dan@pfeiffer.net

Sorry to be so long in replying.Found the owner of my boat during the 80's.He said there were 3 in the Ventura harbor in the 80's.There may have been as many as 12 to15 built.Sometime before the end of the month he will visit my boat.He is looking for some original literature.I DON'T know how to to send a photo as i hardly ever E mail.Aeromarine built the 40' Bounty 2. Will write again in a few weeks when I learn more.
