Last week I installed tidal software (Tide Tool) on my Handspring Visor PDA (Personal Digital Assistant). I sat down with the local tide tables and was amazed at the accuracy of the software. It will compute tides and current speeds with algorithms for over 1500 locations worldwide. Regional databases can be loaded at the user's discretion. And it will calculate tides and curents up to the year 2032.The software is free and runs on any PDA with the Palm OS. It can be downloaded from www.handspring.comI am not affiliated with these corporations. I just found a handy tool that's worth sharing with others.
