CE Declaration
CE Declarations come from the manufacuter. U.S. specification boats cannot be shipped into Europe. I think that most Oday Boats built for use in the U.S. do not bear the CE mark thus do not have CE declarations. Most US built boats require modifications at the factory to meet CE requirements. The CE mark cannot be applied after the boat is delivered. However all boats (new and used) imported into the European Community from June 1998 are required to comply with the Recreational Craft Directive and be marked accordingly. Used boats not originally built for the European market probably cannot be CE marked. This means that if the boat was not imported into the EU after 1998 it may not be able to be CE marked and thus not flaged in Belguim. If the boat is from the EU and if the boat was licensed in the EU after 1998 then there should be a way to license it today. If anyone on the forum has the declarations they must be for that model and model year as the declarations are model and model year specific.
