Does anyone know how to change the masthead sheaves on a Hunter Passage 450? There are two at the top. We have a bosun's chair. If I haul my better/lighter half up on one halyard to change the other, there would be no safety/second line.
Does the cap have to come off?
What type of pin holds one or both sheaves in place? How do I get it out and should I put a new one in?
What type of sheave to use? Ball bearing one?
