Dean, please take photos as you do this so that the rest of us P42 owners know what it looks like. I'm right behind you on this job!!!!I'm not sure about the 45, but I'm getting ready to replace the forward water tank on our 42 Passage. It is going to be a BIG job. The tank blue print I got thru Hunter gave me the size for the builder to work from. And for me to measure the boat to get the old tank out and the new one in.
I had to have the tank size changed so I can get it in thru the door. The tank now is 19" tall and the door without the frame is only 17 1/2" wide. So I had to have the tank cut down to get it in the cabin. I don't get the tank till after April 20 so I have some time to get the old one out.
I will need to take the aft end of the v-berth out and cut out the bulkhead that holds in the stern of the tank. Then I can slide the tank aft to remove it. But then I will need to cut the tank apart to get it out of the boat.

Hi Dave,While not exactly the same as the original, we've sold several of these to Passage 42 owners with success:

Thanks, Dave, for the research!!
