Hi, Long time lurker first time posting. New to me Aug 2022 91 Hunter Passage 42. I am hoping that someone can shed some light on how the washer dryer located beside the nav station is secured in place and how to remove it? I can't see anything securing it from the top bottom or sides which leaves the back, but how to access that? Any help or ideas are appreciated.

Since it is already in place, the reason you want to remove it? Ours did not come with one and have never had a need for it, so no advice on its removal. Sorry.

Ours is all plumbed for one.

So the story goes like this: need to replace the ducting from the engine blower to the lazarette as it is completely done in. Access from the aft cabin to the blower under the washer is very constrained as previous owner ran antenna wires and water hoses through the same space. So originally was thinking if I removed the washer I could gain access through the bottom of the cabinet. While investigating I found that the washer/dryer, dryer vent is not in place so i would like to hook up the dryer vent. Additionally, the second display for my auto helm is on the aft side of the nav station and if I need to replace the cable I need access to where the washer is. Last but not least I wondered if I need to work on the washer how it comes out. I have taken apart most of the aft cabin with no issues, but the washer cabinet has me stumped. Any advice on dismantling the cabinetry beside the Nav station would be welcome. I love a good mystery but what holds the washer in place has me stumped.

Ok, so I can’t quite help you with removal, as I have a 49.
But, I can advise on exhaust.
The effectiveness of the dryer means efficiently getting air out of it.
What Hunter did was put interior exhaust boxes in the boats, which was very limiting.
As suggestion is piping in a 12v exhaust blower
Make a plexi plate that will fit into the frame of one of your aft cabin windows (like a screen)
The vent hose attaches to this.
So, when you’re doing laundry, uncoil the hose and put the window exhaust plate it
Your clothes will dry a lot faster

Mystery solved. There are 2 screw that were put in the top of the cabinet and a piece of trim on the bottom front. Remove the 2 screws at the top and then push the washer back to access the screws that hold the trim on and voila the washer is ready to come out. Now I can reroute the antenna wires for the SSB and perhaps also the water pipes for the transom shower( I think) Tie into the blower venting with a vent flap. This will stop blower air from going into dryer. I will put one the other way on the blower to stop dryer air from going into the engine bilge space, and the blower should be able to provide some positive assistance to the dryer to get the air moving as artboas mentioned was critical. One more project soon to be crossed off the list.
