This is on my new-to-me '94 passage with Z-SPARS in-mast furling rig. The owner's manual seems to specify the size for every line except these two.
All the sheaves in the boom have split. The outhaul line is currently 1/2". I'm not sure if an oversized line could have contributed to them splitting or they were just old.
The sheaves currently in the gooseneck are 35mm in diameter, but RigRite.com says they should be the 60mm sheaves on booms set up for in-mast furling or single-line-reefing:
http://www.rigrite.com/Spars/Zspar/Zspar_Booms/Z-480_boom.html
US Spars shows both on their diagram but they don't specify when one should be used versus the other.
Can anyone confirm what size line and sheave should be used here?
Thanks!
